Shanea O'Connor

Shanea O'Connor is a San Francisco-based Notary Public, Loan Signing Agent, and now, a Legal Document Assistant. Shanea is not an attorney and can only provide services at the specific direction of her clients. After spending a decade working in home health care, Shanea became a notary to further assist the elderly population worked with. This led her to real estate loan signings where she developed a soft spot for elderly and otherwise vulnerable signers from her work in health care. Several years later, she returned to school to complete a certificate in Paralegal Studies from UC Santa Barbara's ABA-approved Professional and Continuing Education program.

Outside of being a Notary, Signing Agent, and Legal Document Assistant, Shanea works as a paralegal for a law firm. She is a proud member of CALDA and registered as an LDA in San Francisco County #2024-0000109 expiring 11/14/2026. Shanea is an animal lover and has a labrador named Riley.

Being a passionate advocate for people in need is a trait Shanea inherited from a multi-generational family legacy in public health. She is skilled at finding resources and referring those she meets to individuals and organizations as appropriate.
